Our environment, an environment to get lost
Right in the Sierra Oeste of Madrid, halfway between the western area of the Sierra de Guadarrama and the Sierra de Gredos. Encinares, pine groves, scrubland and oak groves can be covered while hiking or contemplate from one of the viewpoints in the area.
La Cumbrecilla, El Almendro, San Antonio, La Dehesa, Robledillo, La Venta, El Almojón … are some of the viewpoints located in each of the access roads to the municipality. From these places you will witness the exception of the beauty that surrounds Robledo de Chavela.
Trekking
Hiking around Robledo de Chavela is an unparalleled experience. You can do the routes of San Antonio, San Martin or Monteagudillo with a duration of between one and two hours and little difficulty. The route is linear, except for San Antonio, which is circular.
You can also go to City Hall and check the routes on the model or use the PIM (Multimedia Information Point).
Robledo de Chavela is located in a Special Protection Area for Birds (ZEPA No. 56) so it can also be enjoyed while the activity of the various birds that inhabit the area.

Viewpoints
Especially highlighting the importance of being located in a Zone of Special Protection of Birds ZEPA No. 56 “Entinares de los Rios Gofio and Alberche”.
The viewpoints have been located in each of the access roads to our municipality, specifically in corners that stand out for their uniqueness and panoramic views.
BBT Routes
Robledo de Chavela is located within the TransCAM cycling belt of the community of Madrid. It is a unique place to be able to enjoy inside and outside the circuit of the sport of the bicycle both alone and in family.

Golf
Robledo de Chavela is very close to the Real Club de Golf La Herrería a golf course with more than 50 years of history, surrounded by a unique natural and scenic environment, located in the Forest of La Herrería, northwest of Madrid, located in the Royal Site of San Lorenzo de El Escorial.
It has a spectacular 18-holes circuit with facilities with restaurants, a golf shop, tennis and paddle tennis courts and outdoor swimming pools.
Equestrian
There are more than 20 routes on horseback between the different locations near Robledo de Chavela, many of them routes between El Escorial and Robledo although you can also enjoy an approach to the horses and start learning to ride and enjoy this magnificent sport without need to make a complete route.
